Born and raised amidst the picturesque landscapes of Wisconsin, Dr. Uttech’s academic foundation was laid at Utah State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, focusing on Human Biology..

He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he laid the groundwork for his future in dentistry. His thirst for knowledge and clinical excellence led him to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, where he completed a rigorous hospital-based general practice residency. Here, he garnered extensive experience in complex oral surgery procedures, advanced root canal therapies, sedation techniques, and the nuanced care of medically compromised patients.

Eager to specialize further, Dr. Uttech relocated to Minneapolis, where he earned a specialty certificate in Endodontics alongside a Master of Science degree, refining his skills in the intricate field of root canal treatments, endodontic surgery, and dental pulp therapy.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Uttech finds joy and fulfillment in his family life. He shares his life with his wife and four energetic boys, who together have embraced the vibrant community, stunning natural landscapes, and welcoming atmosphere of their Minnesota home.
